Mid-Autumn Festival & National Day Holidays Notice

This year, China’s two major festivals – the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day – are coming one after another.

mid autumn

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, falls on the fifteenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. 2023 is September 29th. This festival has a history of more than 3,000 years, and families gather together to admire the moon, eat moon cakes, and enjoy the bright moonlight. The full moon represents unity and prosperity. During the event, children also carried colorful lanterns.

NATIONAL day

October 1st is China’s National Day, commemorating the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949. National Day is one of the country’s grandest and most important festivals. Cities across China host fireworks displays, concerts, parades and festivals. Major monuments such as Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall host celebrations and crowds.

The Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day overlap once every ten years, providing a rare opportunity for family and friends to reunite. We wish you all a safe and happy holiday season as we celebrate these traditions and the birth of modern China.

In order to celebrate this festival, JNOD will have a holiday from 29th September to 4th October to reunite with the family and enjoy family happiness. If you have any questions, please leave us a message and we will reply as soon as possible.

Let’s have a great time together.
